Slip Line:
- The slip lining process is ideal for congested areas or difficult-to-dig sites, slip lining saves money and disruption by renewing water control infrastructure using the existing pipeline. Working from access pits, new pipe is installed into deteriorating host pipe, providing a strong new pipeline without the need to dig up and replace your entire system. A variety of pipe materials and installation methods can be used, allowing Glenn Industrial Group, Inc. to tailor the solution to your specific conditions.
Pipe Repair:
- Utilizing cutting edge technology, Glenn Industrial Group, Inc. possesses the ability to repair small diameter pipes (of all styles) utilizing a remote epoxy injection system. This remote system allows cracks with water infiltration to be repaired in hours which allows for minimum shutdown time.
Pipe Abandonment:
- To Energy Companies Coal Combustion Byproducts and ash ponds have always been a part of the coal plant process. Today utilities are faced with remediation of ash ponds, discharge and storm water pipes. Over time, the abrasiveness of the material flowing through the pipes causes wear and leakage. Due to the complexity of many of these drainage systems, the coal ash byproduct can leak from pipes or into pipes, ultimately contaminating storm water, which is draining into a river. Glenn Underwater Services, fabricates and installs remote plugs to seal damaged coal ash discharge pipes. With new EPA regulations pending, our company has been asked to inspect, repair, and abandon ash pond discharge pipes and riser structures at over 30 sites. We have also been extensively involved in the abandonment of intake and other structures for decommissioning of existing fossil stations for various clients in the energy sector.
